a philosophic story about a boy learn to control his temper.
The wisdom on mood can not be practiced by no means, the key is individual will. There is a thought-provoking story: Some bad tempered boy, his father gave him a bag of nails, and told him that whenever he had a fit of temper, he should sew a nail in the rear court railing. During the first day, this boy had gotten down 37 nails. Slowly, the number of boy’s daily nail were reduced, he discovered that controlling his own temper was easier than knocked the nails. One day, this boy thought that he would not lose the patience again or randomly had a fit of temper.
He told his father about this matter. The father said to the boy that from now on whenever he could control his temper, he drew out a nail. Finally the boy told his father that he had drew out all nails. With the son’s hands shaken, the father said: "You do very much well, my good child! But has a look at these railings, they will never be able to be restored to the former appearance. What you have said as you are angry just likes these scars created by the nails. If you take the knife to hurt others, no matter how many times sorry you said, that wound will forever exist.
